Abstract
Smart Nursery Room is a nursing room that can find out whether the room is being used or not, and also can provide a suggestion of the nearest location as an alternative. In the design, the Smart Nursery Room uses a small computer called Raspberry Pi, which acts to run the application interface, and is combined with the HC-SR04 sensor that acts to find out the existence of the objects, that are the breastfeeding mothers, by reading the distance between the sensor and the object then send it to the database to be processed as an information. The problem that appears in the Nursery Room is the emergence of queues in the room, and difficult to get information in realtime regarding the availability and condition of the room when the room is going to be used. One way to overcome the problems that occur in Nursery Room at Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is to create an application with a combination of information technology and sensor devices to create applications that make it easier for breastfeeding mothers to obtain information.
Simple Ascent Hill Climbing method is a search method based on heuristic values for optimization problems. One of its applications is to find the nearest location by minimizing the value of the optimization function that has been
obtained. The application of the Simple Ascent Hill Climbing method is used in the application as an information source, so that the breastfeeding mothers can get the information of the nearest room if the room from the mother is currently being used, so that the breastfeeding mothers can immediately know whether the room is being used or not in realtime, with no need to come directly to the room and the breastfeeding mothers can get information about the other nearby room locations as an alternative to avoid queues when the room from the mother's position is currently being used.
