Archive is one of the most important elements in the business process at PT. PLN (Persero). Every registered customer has a separate archive, which should be kept strictly structured. The archives are the authentic source of information that can be used as verification data between the main subscription and the field data. There are 3 semi-computerized archiving stages that are generally used at PT. PLN Persero, namely: the first stage, the customers; sheet archives are scanned and given names based on PLN standard. The second stage, all archived data are gathered into one folder in a standardized format. The third stage, the archive sheets are sent to archive storage room. The data include the content of AIL Folder like the Customer’s Changes Data (PDL), the warrant of working command and official report, the letter of electric power trading agreement (SPJBTL), the letter of application, the copy of customer’s identity, the certificate of proper operations (SLO), and the sketch of electrical installation pictures at customer’s house. The searching process of the archived data takes quite a long time due to damage of the Central Processor Unit (CPU) commonly used to save the customer’s data. As the result, the scanned data are corrupted and lost. Thus, the data should be find directly in the archive room. In this research, the waterfall model is used as the development system, while the binary search is used as the search method. The result of this research is the Main Subscription Application (AIL) using PHP programming language and the MySQL database that can help the searching process, storing AIL Folder, and controlling the borrowing process of the AIL Folder in archive room.

Arsip merupakan salah satu elemen penting dalam proses bisnis PT.PLN (Persero). Setiap pelanggan yang terdaftar memiliki arsip tersendiri yang harus disimpan secara terstruktur. Arsip merupakan sumber informasi otentik sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai bahan verifikasi data antara data induk langganan dengan data lapangan. Pada PT.PLN (Persero) Area Bima Rayon Bima Kota, ada 3 tahapan penggarsipan semi-komputer yang sudah disepakati bersama yaitu : Tahap pertama, lembar arsip pelanggan di scan kemudian diberi penamaan sesuai standar PLN. Tahap kedua, semua semua data arsip dikumpulkan ke dalam satu folder dengan format yang sudah distandarkan. Tahap ketiga, lembaran arsip kertas dikirim ke ruang penyimpanan arsip. Proses pencarian kembali data arsip yang berupa isi dari Map AIL seperti data Perubahan Data Pelanggan (PDL), surat perintah kerja dan berita acara, surat perjanjian jual-beli tenaga listrik (SPJBTL), surat permohonan, salinan identitas pelanggan, sertifikat laik operasi (SLO) dan sket gambar instalasi listrik rumah pelanggan. Data yang sudah di scan dan tersimpan membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama karena terjadi kerusakan pada Central Prosesor Unit (CPU) yang biasa digunakan untuk menyimpan data pelanggan yang telah di scan rusak dan semua data yang telah di scan hilang sehingga harus mencari langsung data di ruang arsip. Model pengembangan sistem yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini adalah model waterfall dan metode pencarian data yang digunakan adalah binary search. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa aplikasi pustaka Arsip Induk Langganan (AIL) menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan basis data MySQL yang dapat membantu dalam proses pencarian, penyimpanan Map AIL dan mengontrol peminjaman Map AIL pada ruang arsip.
