Abstract
Oil palm and rubber plantations in Indonesia is one of the leading economic activity in the sector of export activity. These commodities can be found in all major islands in Indonesia, one of the island of Sumatra. However, data production of oil palm and rubber, which is still presented in the form of figures makes it difficult to
observe the grouping (clustering) data.
The research methodology that I use is Waterfall, Waterfall methodology has several stages such as Planning, Analysis, System Design, Implementation,
Integration, Operations and Maintenance. In the process of collecting data the author uses the method of observation and literature.
The method used is Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) which is a method of data mining to a cluster. This method is so named because it will be formed by clustering as many c-cluster predetermined that the number of clusters is not predetermined, so that the results of this cluster can be taken results in the form of data which have been
grouped and displayed in map form.
The output will be generated from the manufacture of this system is a MATLAB application that can perform a data cluster production of oil palm and rubber plantations in Sumatra island that is displayed in the map.
