Abstract

Summary of research Integration of renewable microgrid systems in the main electricity system is a study of the integration of microgrid systems in the main electricity system using renewable resources. This research aims to improve the reliability of electricity supply, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and reduce dependence on fossil energy sources. Research shows that the integration of renewable microgrid systems into the main electricity system provides various benefits, including increasing energy efficiency, reliability of electricity supply, and reducing carbon emissions. However, microgrid integration on a large scale also comes with challenges such as costs and enabling policies. This study concludes that the integration of a renewable microgrid system into the main electricity system is an effective way to utilize renewable energy and increase the reliability of electricity supply. However, there is a need for appropriate policy and regulatory support to support widespread use of this system. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct trials for the pilot project. In the development of Smart Microgrid System Technology with several of our hybrid generators at the PLN Jakarta Institute of Technology Laboratory, it is necessary to carry out trials and work together with PLN R&D and other agencies such as the New and Renewable Energy Conversion Center of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to find out that they can synchronize electricity from Photovoltaics with electricity from PLN for the development of smart grid equivalent generation system technology with Smart Microgrid.
