Abstract

Increased air pollution in Indonesia , especially in Jakarta is one of the problems that need to be considered because of the increasing air pollution also increases the levels of harmful gases in the air around including gas CO , therefore, the need for monitoring the levels of CO gas in the surrounding air . By utilizing the microcontroller arduino , levels of CO gas can be monitored at any time . Arduino is used as an intermediary for the transmission of data between the levels of CO gas gauges and computers . Thus, data can be sent directly to a computer and stored into the database . Applications designed on this system using PHP programming language as user interface making it easier to monitor the measurement data in realtime . The measurement data is stored in a MySQL database that can be used further .

Meningkatnya polusi udara di Indonesia terutama di Jakarta merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang perlu diperhatikan karena dengan meningkatnya polusi udara meningkat pula kadar gas berbahaya di udara sekitar termasuk gas CO, oleh sebab itu diperlukannya monitoring kadar gas CO di udara sekitar. Dengan memanfaatkan mikrokontroller arduino, kadar gas CO dapat dimonitoring setiap saat. Arduino digunakan sebagai perantara transmisi data antara alat pengukur kadar gas CO dan komputer. Sehingga, data dapat dikirim langsung ke komputer dan disimpan kedalam database. Aplikasi yang dirancang pada sistem ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP sebagai interface sehingga user lebih mudah dalam memonitoring data hasil pengukuran secara realtime. Data hasil pengukuran tersebut disimpan dalam suatu database MySQL agar dapat digunakan lebih lanjut.
