Abstract

Sistem proteksi adalah suatu komponen yang sangat penting dalam sistem penyaluran tenaga listrik. Dengan keandalannya yang baik maka penyaluran tenaga listrik akan semakin baik, salah satunya dengan dapat meminimalisir gangguan pada sistem dengan cepat, tepat dan akurat. Salah satu komponen penting dalam sistem proteksi yaitu relay proteksi. Relai over current (OCR) adalah relai yang dipakai untuk mendeteksi arus gangguan yang datang melalui current trafo (CT) lalu arus gangguan tersebut akan membuat relai melalukan trip (PMT OPEN) dengan nilai setting dan waktu setting yang ditentukan, dengan begitu peralatan terjaga dari arus gangguan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui sistem kerja relai over current (OCR) pada jaringan transmisi saluran udara tegangan menengah (SUTT). Pada pengujian over current bertujuan untuk mengetahui keandalan relai yang terpasang di setiap gardu induk berdasarkan karakteristik standart invers.

The protection system is a very important component in the electric power distribution system. With its good reliability, the distribution of electricity will be better, one of which can minimize system disruption quickly, precisely and accurately. One important component in the protection system is the protection relay. Over current relays (OCR) are relays that are used to detect fault currents coming through current transformers (CT) and the fault current will make the relay pass (PMT OPEN) with the specified setting and setting time, so the equipment is awake from the current interference. This research was conducted to determine the system of over current (OCR) relay work on the medium voltage air line transmission network (SUTT). The over current test aims to determine the reliability of the relay installed at each substation based on inverse standard characteristics.
