Abstract
The kWh meter's performance is significantly impacted by the amount of current and voltage received. Differences between the primary meter's and the reference meter's readings may be the result of measurement mistakes brought on by variations in current or voltage levels. Conflicts between the two parties to the transaction may result from this. This study attempts to determine the reasons behind measurement mistakes that lead to discrepancies between the readings on the main meter and the comparison meter by using the consumer meter as a reference that is deemed valid. In addition to direct field observations, load profile data is gathered using the Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) system and analyzed using the statistical Z-test approach. This research methodology involves doing field experiments and observations, reviewing and analyzing supporting theories, and having conversations with pertinent parties. When the supply from GIS Sumarecon Bekasi II main and comparison kWh meters gives a steady reading of about ± 1600 kWh, the research findings demonstrate that the reading deviation is caused by a wiring circuit mistake in the kWh meter. Energy was detected in the first measurement, but there was also an indication of ongoing data inaccuracy. A probability result of > 0.05 was obtained from the Z-test outcomes, meaning that H0 was rejected. The readings from the comparison meter and the main meter still differ significantly. When the KCIC line at GIS Poncol Baru II or the supply from GIS Summarecon Bekasi II is unloaded, there is a phase shift in the VT circuit where the power factor gets closer to 1. The repairs took place on August 7, 2024. As a result, there being no disagreement between the participants in the transaction, the cosphi reading went from 0.85 to 0.95, indicating a marked improvement in efficiency. This adjustment not only enhances the overall performance of the system but also suggests that further optimization may be possible with additional monitoring and fine-tuning 0.86 to -0.076, the angle between the current and voltage approached 90°, and the load reading was getting close to zero, or "0." and the transacting parties did not experience a dispute
