Abstract
Kontinuitas merupakan salah satu tantangan terbesar PT. PLN sebagai satu– satunya penyedia tenaga listrik di Indonesia. Akan tetapi, kontinuitas sering terhalang kendala, salah satunya karena gangguan sistem proteksi yang disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor dan akhirnya berimbas pada penyaluran energi listrik ke pelanggan. Sebagian besar kegagalan proteksi dilapangan disebabkan oleh besarnya arus gangguan yang terjadi. Besarnya arus gangguan mengakibatkan Trafo Arus / CT jenuh. Seperti yang terjadi pada gardu distribusi B 397, hasil perhitungan menunjukkan arus gangguan hubung singkat yang nilainya 12414,9 A melebihi setting Over Current Rele yang nilainya 3810 A. Mengingat mutu pelayanan merupakan hal penting, maka perlu dilakukan penanganan sebaik mungkin agar gangguan tersebut juga tidak sampai merusak sistem dan peralatan lainnya . Harus dipastikan juga bahwa proteksi yang terpasang telah memenuhi syarat aman , andal, dan ekonomis sehingga peralatan dapat terhindar dari kerusakan serta bekerja dengan baik dan supplai aliran listrik tidak terganggu.
Continuity is one of the biggest challenges PT. PLN as the one provider of electricity in Indonesia. However, continuity is often the obstacles, one of them due to interruption protection system caused by various factors and finally impact on the distribution of electrical energy to costumers. Most of the failure of protection in the field causes of the high flow disturbance. The high flow disturbance resulted in a current transformer / CT of saturated. As happened at the B 397 distribution substation, the result of calculations showed the short circuit current its value 12419,4 A more than Over Current Rele setting of 3810 A . Given the quality of service is an important thing, then it needs to be handling as possible so that the disorder is also not to damage the system and other equipment. It must be confirmed that the attached has qualified for safe, reliable and economical so that the equipment to avoid damage as well as working well and the supply of electricity is not compromised.
