The issues occurring at the Limo 1 Toll Gate of PT. Trans Lingkar Kita Jaya are that every time lightning strikes the toll equipment, it causes some of the toll equipment to be damaged. This results in disturbances during the operation of the toll gate. The disturbances caused by lightning strikes on the Limo 1 Toll Gate equipment, where before the grounding addition the resistance value was 3.4 ohms, then after adding grounding and re-measuring, the value obtained was 2.2 ohms, it can be concluded that the decrease in resistance value is 35.25%. Furthermore, the number of disturbances caused by lightning strikes that damaged the toll equipment was 11 disturbances during the period of January 2024 - August 2024, before the addition of grounding, and then after the addition of grounding, the number of disturbances caused by lightning strikes that damaged the toll equipment decreased to 3 disturbances during the period of september 2024 - april 2025. It can be concluded that the reduction in the number of disturbances after the addition of grounding is 72.72%. This indicates that the addition of the grounding system has improved in reducing the number of disturbances caused by lightning strikes that damage the toll equipment at the Limo 1 toll gate.
