Abstract
Pembangkit listrik tenaga uap adalah pembangkit yang menggunakan batubara, dimana batubara menghasilkan nilai kadar sulfur yang kadang tinggi dan dapat melebihi baku mutu di peraturan lingkungan sehingga dapat mempengaruhi kinerja lingkungan salah satunya terkait PROPER. Oleh karena itu, perlu melakukan pengujian co-firing kulit kayu 3% guna menurunkan kadar sulfur supaya dapat memenuhi baku mutu peraturan lingkungan. Pada pengujian ini menggunakan proses perbandingan batubara 100% dan co-firing kulit kayu sebesar 3%. Pada proses pengujian ini juga dilakukan dengan beberapa parameter operasi PLTU selama 5 jam. Dalam pengujian emisi sisi lingkungan masih di bawah baku mutu sesuai dg peraturan lingkungan, yaitu dari sebelum cofiring, emisi sulfur 246.7 mg/Nm3, dan dengan cofiring emisi sulfur menjadi 190 mg/Nm3.

Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a co-firing test of 3% bark in order to reduce the sulfur content in order to meet the quality standards of environmental regulations. In this test using a comparison process of 100% coal and co-firing bark of 3%. In this testing process, several parameters of the PLTU operation were carried out for 5 hours. In testing the environmental side emissions are still below the quality standard in accordance with environmental regulations, namely from before cofiring, sulfur emissions are 246.7 mg/Nm3, and with cofiring sulfur emissions are 190 mg/Nm3.
