Abstract
Efisiensi boiler dipengaruhi oleh pembakaran, Udara panas penting untuk mempercepat pembakaran di boiler, dan pengeringan batu bara di pulvurizer. Udara pembakaran yang masuk keruang bakar ini terlebih dahulu melewati air preheater untuk ditingkatkan temperaturnya. Air preheater merupakan alat perpindahan panas yang mentransfer panasnya dengan memanfaatkan panas flue gas untuk menaikkan temperature udara masuk. Pada PLTU Banten 2 Labuan digunakan Air preheater Tri-sector, Vertical Shaft, Ljungstrom Regenerativ, dengan boiler tipe Pulvurized. Dengan adanya Overhoul maka unjuk kerja dari air preheater semakin meningkat. Indikator perpindahan panas pada elemen air preheater terhadap udara. Maka semakin bagus pula proses pembakaran yang terjadi di boiler. Dengan adanya Overhoul terhadap air preheater maka dapat meningkatkan unjuk kerja air preheater sehingga efisiensi boiler juga akan meningkat pula. Dimana nilai efisiensi boiler sebelum overhoul sebesar 85,7149% dan setelah overhoul meningkat menjadi sebesar 86,0730%.
Boiler efficiency is affected by combustion, hot air is important for accelerating combustion in the boiler, and drying coal in the pulverizer. The combustion air that enters the combustion chamber formerly passes through the preheater water to increase its temperature. The air preheater is a heat transfer device that transfers its heat by utilizing flue gas heat to increase the temperature of the intake air. At PLTU Banten 2 Labuan that used Tri-sector preheater, Vertical Shaft, Ljungstrom Regenerative, with Pulverized type boiler. By doing the Overhaul, the performance of the air preheater has increased. The better the heat transfer in the water preheater element to the air, thus the better the combustion process that occurs in the boiler. With the Overhaul of the preheater water, it can increase the performance of the preheater water so that the boiler efficiency will also increase as well. Where the boiler efficiency value before overhaul was 85.7149% and after overhaul increased to 86.0730%.
