Abstract
ANALISIS PENGARUH TEMPERATUR AMBIENT TERHADAP
ENERGI DAN EKSERGI SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH OVERHAUL PADA
PLTG UNIT 1.3 MUARA TAWAR . Dalam mencari pengaruh overhaul terhadap
performansi komponen pembangkit, hukum I termodinamika sering digunakan
dalam menentukan dampak dari overhaul. Hal ini dirasa kurang karena banyak
faktor yang mempengaruhi seperti lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, hukum II
termodinamika diterapkan demi memberikan hasil yang akurat. Metode yang
digunakan menggunakan metode analisis energi dan analisis eksergi. Hasil yang
diperoleh dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa efisiensi energi dan eksergi
mengalami titik terendah pada kondisi PLTG sebelum overhaul. Hasil studi juga
menunjukan bahwa kinerja terendah pada komponen terjadi pada saat variasi
temperatur ambient tinggi dan komponen belum belum di overhaul. Efisiensi energi
terendah bernilai 31,875% dan ekserginya sebesar 27,685% pada temperatur
ambient 308,15 K dengan kondisi komponen belum dioverhaul. sedangkan efisiensi
energi tertinggi 34,256% dan ekserginya 29,758% pada temperatur ambient 299,15
K dengan kondisi komponen sudah dioverhaul. karena efisiensi setelah overhaul
lebih tinggi maka overhaul berjalan dengan baik. Pengkabutan air dapat dilakukan
pada inlet kompresor agar efek temperatur ambient berkurang
ANALYSIS THE INFLUENCE OF AMBIENT TEMPERATURE TO
THE ENERGY AND EXERGY VALUE ON GAS POWER PLANT IN UNIT
1.3 MUARA TAWAR. When searching effect of overhaul to the performance on
powerplant component, first law of thermodynamics always used for searching the
impacts of overhaul. However, the result that came out were less than expectation because theres is so much factor that applied for example environment. Therefore, second law of thermodynamics are applied so that it give more accurate results. Methods that were used are energy and exergy analysis. The result show that energy efficiency and exergy efficiency in the lowest point before overhaul is commited on gas powerplant. The results also showed that the lowest performance in components occurred at a time when ambient temperature were high and the components had not been overhauled. The lowest energy efficiency is worth 31.875% and the exergy is 27.685% at ambient temperature of 308.15 K with component conditions have not been overhauled. while the highest energy efficiency is 34.256% and the exergy 29.758% at ambient temperature 299.15 K with component conditions already overhauled. Because the efficiency after the overhaul is higher then before, overhaul goes well. Water misting can be done on the compressor inlet so that the ambient temperature effect is reduced.
