Abstract
Conductive suit is one of the most important safety equipment used in live line maintenance (PDKB). The main function of this suit is to distribute electric current evenly around the worker's body. Therefore, the physical condition and conductivity properties of conductive suit must be maintained including after the cleaning process. frequent use and repeated washing can lead to an increase in the suit's electrical resistance. This study, entitled "Factors Affecting the Resistance Value of Conductive Suits for Live-Line Maintenance: An Empirical Study at the PLN Training Center Laboratory in Semarang", aims to analyze the influence of washing methods, the number of washing cycles, and electrode distance during testing on the increase in the resistance value of conductive suits. The data analysis method used in this study was multiple linear regression using SPSS software. The results indicate that all independent variables—namely, the conductive suit cleaning method, the number of repeated washings, and the electrode distance—have a significant effect on the increase in the resistance value of the conductive suit.The regression coefficient for the washing method variable is positive at 0.126, for the number of repeated washings is positive at 0.040, and for the electrode distance is positive at 0.002.
