This research analyzes the investment feasibility of home charging services (HCS) by PLN UID Riau and Riau Islands as a key driver for the electric vehicle ecosystem. Using the financial analysis methods of Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PBP) with a 10-year projection period (2025-2034), this study examines the project's viability based on projected EV user growth, a 50% investment cost subsidy scheme, and service adoption interest survey data. The baseline scenario analysis indicates that the HCS project is financially feasible. The project yields a positive NPV of IDR 3.999 billion, an IRR of 23.47%, and a PBP of 7.49 years, which is faster than the 10-year maximum threshold. Despite its feasibility, the sensitivity analysis reveals that the project's profitability is highly vulnerable to changes in key variables. The switching value analysis shows that the project becomes unfeasible if investment costs increase by more than 18% of the initial budget or if revenue decreases by more than 14% of the projection. This vulnerability is primarily due to the reliance on achieving a 60% service adoption target by new customers and the risk of rising equipment costs. Therefore, this study recommends structured risk mitigation, dynamic market monitoring, and consideration of alternative schemes to maintain the long-term sustainability of the investment.
