Abstract
Kebutuhan akan listrik yang semakin tinggi harus diimbangi dengan peningkatan perfomance dan efisiensi dari pembangkit listrik untuk mengurangi sumber daya alam yang dikonversikan menjadi energi listrik. Turbin heat rate merupakan salah satu indikator perfomance atau unjuk kerja dari Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan prediksi pengaruh kenaikan jam operasi terhadap nilai heat rate, kerja dan efisiensi turbin pada PLTU berkapasitas 65 MW. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa bertambahnya jam operasi maka nilai turbin heat rate semakin bertambah, dimana nilai turbin heat rate terendah sebesar 2863,40 kcal/kWh saat jam operasi sebesar 203.195,74 jam. Nilai turbin heat rate terbesar 3365,04 kcal/kWh saat jam operasi sebesar 214.094,66 jam. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bertambahnya jam operasi nilai kerja turbin mengalami penurunan. Dimana nilai kerja aktual turbin tertinggi sebesar 1110,94 watt pada saat jam operasi sebesar 203.195,74 jam, nilai kerja aktual turbin terendah sebesar 1060,5 watt pada saat jam operasi sebesar 214.094,66 jam. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bertambahnya jam operasi nilai efisiensi turbin mengalami penurunan, dimana nilai efisiensi turbin tertinggi sebesar 83,21% pada saat jam operasi sebesar 203.195,74 jam, dan nilai efisiensi turbin terendah sebesar 78,29% pada saat jam operasi sebesar 214.094,66 jam.
The higher electricity demand must be balanced with increased performance and efficiency of power plants to reduce natural resources converted into electrical energy. Turbine heat rate is one indicator of a Steam Power Plant (PLTU). This research was conducted to predict the effect of increasing operating hours on the value of heat rate, work, and turbine efficiency at a PLTU with a capacity of 65 MW. From the study results, it was found that with increasing operating hours, the value of the turbine heat rate increased, where the lowest turbine heat rate value was 2863,40 kcal/kWh during working 203.195.74 hours. The largest deal of turbine heat rate is 3365,04 kcal/kWh during operating hours of 214.094.66 hours. From the results of the study, it was found that the increase in operating hours of the turbine work decreased. Where the highest turbine actual work value is 1110,94 watt during operating hours of 203.195.74 hours, the lowest turbine actual work value is 1060,5 watt during operating hours of 214.094.66 hours. From the results of the study, it was found that with increasing working hours, the turbine efficiency value decreased, where the highest turbine efficiency value was 83.21% at operating hours of 203.195.74 hours, and the lowest turbine efficiency value was 78,29% at operating hours of 214.094, 66 hours.
