Abstract

Dalam sistem interkoneksi dibutuhkan keberadaan Gardu Induk dengan tegangan ekstra tinggi yaitu 500 kV, sehingga diperlukan transformator daya sebagai salah satu peralatan untuk memanipulasi tegangan supaya mampu beroprasi secara kontinyu sehingga menunjang keandalan beroprasi gardu induk. Yang menjadi perhatian dalam skripsi ini adalah koordinasi proteksi transformator daya 500/150 kV, 500 MVA ini meliputi sistem koordinasi yang diterapkan, peralatan utama pengaman transformator, prinsip pengoprasian transformator, dan pengaturan jarak penempatan arrester dengan transformator serta hubungan antar transformator. Koordinasi proteksi yang diterapkan menghasilkan perlindungan transformator daya yang maksimal terhadap bahaya tegangan lebih yang terjadi. Peralatan utama pengamanan transformator yang terdiri atas rele-rele, pemutus tenaga, transformator arus dan transformator tegangan dapat memberikan pengamanan yang maksimal dari adanya gangguan pada transformator daya. Prinsip pengoperasian transformator daya meliputi pengaturan jarak penempatan arrester, hubungan antar transformator, serta kerja rele yang digunakan akan dapat menghasilkan pengoperasian transformator daya yang aman dan kontinyu.

In the the existence of system interconnection substation is needed with extra high voltage of 500 kV, so that the necessary power transformers as one of the tools to be able to manipulate voltage operation continuously. Thus supporting the reliability of the substation operation. The concern in this paper is the coordination of 500/150 kV power transformer protection, 500 MVA include coordination system is applied, the main equipment safety transformer, the principle operation of transformers, arresters placement and spacing of the transformer as well as the relationship between the transformer. Coordination of protection applied, generating maximum power transformer protection against the dangers of over voltage occurs. The main transformer protection equipment consisting of relays, circuit breaker, current transformer and voltage transformer to provide maximum security of a disturbance in the power transformer. The principle of the operation power transformers including a distance of arrester placement settings, the relationship between the transformer and relay work is used, will be able to generate power transformer the operation,safe and continous.
