Abstract

This research proposes and analyzes "PLN EnergiPoint", an integrated energy retail partnership model called as part of PT PLN (Persero)'s "Beyond kWh" strategy. The model aims to create added value beyond conventional electricity sales by providing integrated electrical products and services, certified technician services, and energy education. Using a single instrumental case study approach supported by the Business Model Canvas (BMC), SWOT analysis, and an investment feasibility evaluation (NPV, IRR, Payback Period), the study demonstrates that EnergiPoint is economically and operationally viable.
The financial simulation results show a positive NPV of Rp. 4,804,740,741an IRR of 35% (exceeding the 9.6% MARR), and a Payback Period of 2.5 years. Despite a relatively high initial investment of Rp 1,962,562,467,. these figures indicate strong profitability and includes strategic components like Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU). Operationally, the model strengthens PLN's brand image and creates synergy with the PLN Mobile digital application, establishing a complementary omnichannel service ecosystem. The study proposes a phased implementation strategy and a systematic partner management model to ensure scalability and sustainability. EnergiPoint has the potential to be a digital enabler and a new business opportunity for local partners, supporting PLN's transformation into a comprehensive energy solutions provider.
