Abstract
Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gas dan Uap (PLTGU) merupakan sebuah pembangkit listrik yang menggabungkan antara Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gas yang menerapkan siklus Brayton dan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap yang menerapkan siklus Rankine. Untuk menjaga kinerja seluruh komponen PLTGU diperlukan heat exchanger untuk menjaga suhu komponen dalam sistem. GT Closed Cooling Water Heat Exchanger merupakan salah satu heat exchanger yang ada dalam sistem Gas Turbine PLTGU.Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menganalisis Efektivitas dan faktor faktor yang mempengaruhi Efektivitas dari GT CCWHE sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan retrofit 2 bundle pada unit GT 2.1 di PLTGU Blok II UP Muara Karang. Analisis efektivitas GT CCWHE dilakukan dengan membandingkan efektivitas pada GT CCWHE unit GT 2.1 selama 3 bulan sebelum dan 3 bulan sesudah dilakukan retrofit 2 bundle. Metode penghitungan yang digunakan yaitu metode Log Mean Temperature Difference (LMTD) dan Number of Transfer Unit (NTU). Sehingga dihasilkan nilai ε-NTU sebesar 0,389 & ε-LMTD sebesar 0,394 sebelum retrofit 2 bundle. Setelah dilakukan retrofit 2 bundle didapat nilai ε-NTU 0,463 & ε-LMTD 0,54. Untuk nilai ε-NTU & ε-LMTD setelah dilakukan retrofit cenderung lebih stabil.
Gas and Steam Power Plant (PLTGU) is a power plant that combines a Gas Power Plant that applies the Brayton cycle and a Steam Power Plant that applies the Rankine cycle. To maintain the performance of all PLTGU components, a heat exchanger is needed to maintain the temperature of the components in the system. GT Closed Cooling Water Heat Exchanger is one of the heat exchangers in the PLTGU Gas Turbine system. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness and factors that affect the effectiveness of GT CCWHE before and after 2 bundle retrofits are carried out on the GT 2.1 unit at PLTGU Blok II UP Muara Karang. GT CCWHE efectiveness analysis is carried out by comparing the effectiveness of GT CCWHE unit GT 2.1 for 3 months before and 3 months after the 2 bundle retrofit. The calculation method used is the Log Mean Temperature Difference (LMTD) and Number of Transfer Unit (NTU) methods. So that the ε-NTU value is 0.389 & ε-LMTD is 0.394 before retrofitting 2 bundles. After retrofitting 2 bundles, the ε-NTU value is 0.463 & ε-LMTD is 0.54. The ε-NTU & ε-LMTD values after retrofitting tend to be more stable.
