Pemilihan suatu metode sangat penting dalam pelaksanaan suatu proyek konstruksi, karena dengan metode pelaksanaan yang tepat dapat memberikan hasil yang maksimal terutama jika ditinjau dari segi biaya. Salah satunya dalam pelaksanan bekisting pier head dimana terdapat berbagai macam metode seperti bekisting multipleks, bekisting fiberglass dan bekisting knock down. Pada penilitian ini dilakukan pengamatan perbandingan biaya pelaksanaan bekisting multipleks dengan fiberglass untuk pekerjaan pier head. Untuk menghitung biaya digunakan pedoman HSP Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum No.11/PRT/M/2013 dengan menggunakan harga satuan bahan dan upah wilayah Ibu Kota Jakarta 2017, hasil dari penilitian ini didapat perbandingan biaya menunjukkan bekisting multipleks Rp. 348.325.055 sedangkan bekisting fiberglass Rp. 379.153.060 dengan selisih biaya yaitu Rp. 30.828.005 atau selisih sekitar 8,13%, dengan mengetahui keuntungan dan kerugian masing-masing jenis pekerjaan bisa dijadikan bahan pertimbangan untuk menetukan jenis atau metode mana yang digunakan sesuai kebutuhan.

One of them in the implementation of pier head formwork where there are various methods such as multiplex formwork, fiberglass formwork and knock down formwork. In this research, the cost comparison of multiplex formwork with fiberglass for pier head work is done. In order to calculate the cost of HSP guidelines the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works No.11 / PRT / M / 2013 by using the unit price of materials and wages of Jakarta Capital City 2017, the results of this study obtained cost comparison shows the formwork multiplex Rp. 348.325.055 whereas formwork fiberglass Rp. 379.153.060 with the difference between the cost of Rp. 30.828.005 or the difference of about 8.13%, by knowing the advantages and disadvantages of each type of work can be taken into consideration to determine which type or which method is used as needed.
