Abstract
Internet of Things (IoT) is a concept where certain objects have the ability to transfer data over a network. Internet of Things is also often identified with RFID as a method of communication. There are still many classrooms using manual
systems and don't have an IoT system that can control the process for preparing classrooms. The aim of this research is to build a prototype of smart room using RFID as an access card to enter the room which will be processed by the Arduino
uno and raspberry pi 3 model-B microcontrollers. This microcontroller will be tasked with carrying out processes in accordance with commands such as opening doors automatically, turning on fans, and turning on lights. Then the web
application in this study aims to report the data results of activities that have been running on the Arduino uno microcontroller and sapberry pi 3 model-b. After the
Arduino Uno microcontroller has finished it’s task, the Raspberry pi 3 model-b microcontroller will send data to a web application which is then processed and can produce reports on used classroom.
