Abstract
Motor asinkron (motor induksi) banyak di gunakan pada pembangkit sistem tenaga listrik seperti contoh nya pada Forced Draft Fan (FDF) .Dalam sistem tenaga listrik, supaya dapat beroperasi dengan andal. Maka diperlukan sistem proteksi. Sistem proteksi berperan penting dalam mendeteksi adanya gangguan dan untuk mencegah kerusakan yang diakibatkan gangguan. sistem proteksi yang baik akan mengisolasi daerah gangguan dan mencegah terjadinya padam pada sistem lain yang tak terganggu. Hal ini akan meningkatkan keandalan sistem yaitu menjaga kontinyuitas suplai beban. Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk menyampaikan studi proteksi motor listrik besar dengan studi kasus Forced draft fan (FDF) di Unit Pembangkit PLTU Muara Karang .Dari hasil studi yang didapat pada skripsi didapatlah perhitungan TMS OCR sebesar 2,5 , setting itu sudah dapat dikatakan baik , berdasarkan kurva yang dilakukan di simulasi ETAP 12.6.0
Asynchronous motor is widely used in powerplant, for example in Forced Draft Fan. In electrical power system, protection system is required to operate reliably. Protection system ha a very important role to detect fault and to prevent the damage that caused by it. A good protection system will isolate the fault and prevent the other system which is not failing becomes failed. This will improve the reliability of the system and maintaining continuity of load supply. This will improve the reliability of the system and maintaining contuinity of load supply. This thesis aims to convey the protection study of large electric motor with case study of Forced Draft Fab (FDF) in Muara Karang Power Plant. From the result of study that value calculation TMS OCR = 2,5, it can already be said good based on chart that simulation on applicatiom ETAP 12.6.0.
