Abstract
Jaringan distribusi tegangan menengah merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam sistem tenaga listrik yang berperan menyalurkan energi listrik dari gardu induk menuju konsumen. Keandalan jaringan distribusi sangat dipengaruhi oleh jenis konduktor yang digunakan, khususnya pada saluran udara tegangan menengah (SUTM). Pada Penyulang TB.01 PT PLN (Persero) ULP Galang, masih sering terjadi gangguan akibat faktor eksternal seperti pohon tumbang, hewan, serta kondisi cuaca yang mengakibatkan konduktor bersentuhan atau mengalami kerusakan. Untuk itu, penelitian ini berfokus pada optimalisasi penggunaan kabel AAACS (All Aluminium Alloy Conductor Steel Reinforced Covered) sebagai alternatif pengganti konduktor telanjang konvensional. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui studi literatur, analisis teknis, serta perhitungan keandalan jaringan dengan parameter System Average Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI) dan System Average Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kabel AAACS dapat mengurangi potensi gangguan akibat kontak langsung dengan pohon maupun hewan, meningkatkan keandalan jaringan, serta memperpanjang umur pakai konduktor. Penerapan kabel AAACS pada jaringan lateral Pisang Pala terbukti mampu menurunkan frekuensi dan durasi padam dibandingkan dengan penggunaan konduktor telanjang, sehingga kualitas pelayanan kepada pelanggan menjadi lebih baik.

The medium-voltage distribution network is one of the essential components in the power system, serving to transmit electrical energy from substations to consumers. The reliability of the distribution network is highly influenced by the type of conductor used, particularly in medium-voltage overhead lines (MVOL). On Feeder TB.01 of PT PLN (Persero) ULP Galang, disturbances still frequently occur due to external factors such as falling trees, animals, and weather conditions that cause conductors to come into contact or suffer damage. Therefore, this study focuses on optimizing the use of AAACS (All Aluminium Alloy Conductor Steel Reinforced Covered) cables as an alternative to conventional bare conductors. The research method was carried out through literature studies, technical analysis, and network reliability calculations using the System Average Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI) and the System Average Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI) parameters. The analysis results show that the use of AAACS cables can reduce the potential for disturbances caused by direct contact with trees or animals, improve network reliability, and extend conductor lifespan. The application of AAACS cables on the Pisang Pala lateral network has proven to reduce outage frequency and duration compared to bare conductors, thereby improving service quality for customers.
